Hi, I’m
Shailla
It’s difficult and scary being true to ourselves. Especially in a society dominated by the way we should do things. I have had to go through my own awakening and transformation back to my true self. I want to help all women liberate themselves from restrictions put on them by others and themselves.
All too often, we’re told to stay small and quiet. I want us to rise up and use our voices. Take up space. Stand in the fullness of our power.
If you feel like you have the capacity to do more but are scared by what that means, I want to have a chat with you.
MY STORY
It can be difficult and scary being true to ourselves.
Especially in a society dominated by the way we should do things. Should stay quiet. Should stay grateful. Should not want more.
I had to come back to myself. A slow, sometimes painful process of learning who I am and unlearning the rules I never agreed to. Listening for the quiet voice underneath all the noise.
Breaking Beyond is what grew from that.

A storytelling platform for women
who refuse to stay small.
Breaking Beyond highlights the voices of women who have broken beyond barriers — both internal and external. The cultural ones. The familial ones. The ones we built ourselves to stay safe.
It empowers, inspires, and models for women how to follow their intuition, trust themselves, and become who they've always wanted to be — regardless of what society or their cultural background tells them.
WHY BREAKING BEYOND
For the women
who came before me.
Because of all the women that came before me who had no say and no choice—living life according to their fathers’ and husbands’ decisions. Often, but not always, enduring abuse while fiercely loving and protecting their children.
I carry them with me. I have to give them a voice. I want to empower girls and women to trust in themselves, follow their alignment, and stand up for what’s true to them.
This is for all women who couldn’t dream but whose sacrifices made it possible for me. For the women that came before, those who are here now, and those that are yet to come.
